Luis is a civil engineer, a professional with extensive expertise in the construction of Onshore & Landfalls pipelines and associated Facilities. Luis has a proven track record of completing difficult projects on time and in complex settings on 4 continents (America, Europe, Asia and Oceania).
Luis started his career as a project engineer then construction manager, site manager, to become project manager.
Luis is fully familiar with and committed to the HSE policies and practices of the major oil and gas companies.
In 2018, he received the TransCanada CEO Safety Leadership Award, recognizing his invaluable contribution and commitment to the company's safety culture in supporting that “Zero Accident is Possible”. He was recognized for his defence for safety at work and at home and for his ethics in safe work, which influenced, inspired, and challenged his team to avoid having incidents at work.
